Some things I accomplished in 2008:
Pulled together my professional portfolio.
Participated in Blackwater Writing Project.
Wrote many new pieces, learned about memoir writing.
Coached more winning teams in Promote.
Ran a great Fall Festival at both church and at school in the same week.
Contributed to the church children's Christmas party to ensure that underprivileged students and their families got Christmas gifts and food.
Found a lot more information for the family tree.
Started work on my Master's Degree again.
Taught a great Bible School class to adults!
Grew as a Sunday School teacher.
Co-directed a fantastic Christmas musical with the children and youth.
Finished reading through the entire Bible.
Read the Bible every day (with the exception of maybe five days scattered throughout the year).
Built stronger relationships with all of my kids.
Took a group of band-os to the beach during Spring Break.
Started tech clubs for kindergarten and first grade!
Brought my family closer together by encouraging visits to each other.
Grew as a teacher, with a better understanding of standards-based lessons and other system-level requirements.
Developed more patience, forgiveness, and understanding, both personally and professionally.
